We have reached a major – and highly visible – milestone in the Beccs Stockholm construction project: The arrival of our largest pipe bridge section that will be mounted across Lidingövägen.

At 92 metres long and around 300 tonnes in weight, the structure was delivered to our port in Stockholm in one single piece. A major logistical achievement and an impressive sight, even by large‑scale infrastructure standards.

With the bridge now on site, the next “small” task awaits: Lifting this huge structure into its exact position. This will take place in April.

Once in place, this pipe bridge will serve as the vital link between our new BECCS facility and the host plant at Värtaverket, connecting the two sites both physically and operationally. It’s a critical link in making the system work as a whole.

Step by step, we’re moving closer to making large‑scale biogenic carbon removal a reality.
