Another major milestone has been reached in the Beccs Stockholm project: The largest foundation has been successfully poured.

Not the first foundation, not the last, but the biggest one.

Around 1,400 cubic metres of concrete, delivered through more than 200 ready-mix concrete lorry deliveries, were carefully poured to form a solid base for the absorber and desorber (stripper): Two key components of the future facility for carbon dioxide removal.

Large pours like this demand precision, coordination and patience. From logistics and sequencing to the final pour, every step needs to be right to ensure a stable and durable foundation.

A significant step forward for the project and another clear sign that Beccs Stockholm is taking shape, quite literally, from the ground up.
